MICHAEL JACOBY was born and raised in South Jersey, USA with this strong urge to create things. So, in 2016, he made his own website, DoorJam Creations, host of webcomics Americus Video and The Sbuirrels, his written series, and his blog entries.

Jacoby takes inspiration from varying sources, ranging from classic children's shows of the 1990s and 2000s such as Tiny Toon Adventures and Invader Zim, absurdist and anarchist comedy the likes of Monty Python and [adult swim], and bizarre humor ever present on the internet, including Square Root of Minus Garfield and YouTube Poop.

It's not just his webcomics he plans to publish as books. Jacoby plans to expand beyond them in future books, venturing into different genres and styles.

In the early-to-mid-2020s, Jacoby first created unsuccessful versions of his webcomic book compilations before moving onto improved alterations of them. To obtain these unpublished books, sign up for my book mailing list by clicking the below button.
